It's Mother’s May! Join our fast-paced koffee & barista training experience for you and your child, complete with lunch from the Yahava Kafe!

Every Saturday in May - 4th, 11th, 18th & 25th

About this event:

This full day course has been designed to give you and your child insight into the coffee industry and training in the skills you need to become a barista, whilst also allowing you the opportunity to spend some quality time together and create wonderful memories.

This course will cover:

  • Roast a batch of coffee with our professional coffee roasters to give them an in-depth understanding of why roasting coffee is a perfect blend of art and science – each student also gets to take home the coffee they roasted themselves
  • Enjoy a complimentary lunch from the Yahava Kitchen
  • Understand the basics of espresso-based coffee making using professional equipment and learning from the same coffee trainers that train our expert baristas
  • Get hands on experience with an espresso machine and learn the fundamentals of extracting great coffee each and every time
  • Starting the journey to perfect milk texturing (frothing).

All participants that successfully complete this course receive a certificate of completion indicating that they have completed Yahava’s Barista Induction Course

Cancellation Policy

Refund Policy: We are happy to refund any and all participants up to 48 hours prior to the class/event commencing. Within 48 hours we unfortunately cannot issue refunds. This is due to the difficulty in being able to resell the ticket in addition to the event/class being staffed according to the expected number of participants. This unfortunately is inclusive of Covid-related issues - so please book mindfully.

Any cancellations within 48 hours: We will attempt to fill your spot for you, and if so will issue a full refund. However if a replacement participant can not be found, the ticket will not be refunded.
